Elder Linda B. Cohen

 

Elder Linda B. Cohen shares diligently in the ministry with her husband, the renowned Bishop Harry L. Cohen as Pastors of the New Covenant and St. Mariah Churches. She is a woman who possesses a great love for people and is an exuberant delight to be around.

 

Elder Cohen is a native of Eden, North Carolina and now resides in Elon, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Morehead High School, Eden, North Carolina.  Her education was continued at Rockingham County Community College, Wentworth, North Carolina, where she was certified in Data Processing.  She later received a Certificate of Counseling from the Heritage Bible College, Dunn, North Carolina. She is currently furthering her Theological Studies at the North Carolina Bible College in Durham, North Carolina.

 

Elder Cohen received her Credential of Ordination in September of 1998. She serves the community as a Minister of the Gospel, First Lady and Director of the Women’s Ministry of the New Covenant Holy Church, Burlington, North Carolina, and Director of the New Covenant Daycare Center. She also serves as the Assistant to the Pastor at St. Mariah United Holy Church in Reidsville, North Carolina.  She is the President of the Bishops’ and Ministers’ Wives and Widows of the Southern District Convocation of the United Holy Church of America, Inc. She also holds the office of President for the Missionary Department of the Southern Western District Union. Among all these things she is a friend to everyone she meets.

 

She is the mother of two sons:  LeGrande and Harold Cohen and the aunt-mother of Elder Jeffrey Broadnax.  She is very proud of her five grandchildren:  Harry Emanuel, Aliyah, Charity, Trinity, and Joshua Cohen.

 

Elder Cohen’s ministry has called her to minister the Word of God in many Women Conferences, Seminars and Special Services. She challenges women all around to become women of excellence, freedom, purpose, prayer and grace. She is anointed to bring radical change and spiritual breakthroughs to individuals that she ministers to. 

 

Elder Cohen’s heart desire is to instruct, inspire, equip and empower individuals to walk in the principles of God, enabling them to reach their fullest potential in Christ.

 

Her first priority is to please the Lord and be faithful to His Word.  Then, to be a loving wife to her husband, the best mother to her children and the all-a-round nana to her grandchildren are among her list of priorities.
